Ape Escape revolves around the escaped circus monkey, Specter, who uses a mind-controlling device to become more intelligent and command the other monkeys. Professor is tasked with capturing Specter and the other monkeys, including those influenced by Specter's control. To accomplish this, the professor recruits Kakeru, who helps track and capture the monkeys.
