Shu's village is attacked by an unknown enemy, prompting him and his friends Jiro and Kluke to defend their home. They team up with warrior Zola, who gives them the power of Shadow, allowing them to transform their shadows into powerful monsters. Shu's monster, Blue Dragon, is particularly strong and helps him and his friends on their mission to defeat their enemy. Shu, Jiro, Kluke, and Zola form a group to take on the threat.
