Fortune Favors Lady Nikuko

Kikuko Misuji, nicknamed Nikuko-chan, lives in a small northern town where she's known for running the grill. After years of moving from place to place with various partners, Nikuko-chan has finally settled on a houseboat with her daughter, also named Kikuko. The mother-daughter duo struggles to find their place in the community, with Nikuko-chan's outgoing personality contrasting with her daughter's more reserved nature.
