Macross II: Lovers Again

Macross II: Lovers Again takes place 80 years after the events of Space War I, where humans and Zentraedi have established a lasting peace on Earth. A new alien threat emerges with the Marduk's appearance in the Solar System, prompting a battle between the U.N. Spacy and the Marduk fleet. During the initial conflict, SNN reporter Hibiki Kanzaki encounters Ishtar, a Marduk "Emulator" whose combat abilities are amplified through singing. Hibiki brings Ishtar to Earth, teaming up with ace pilot Silvie Gena to stop the Marduk leader Ingues from destroying the planet.
