Tia Allbright, a young warrior-woman, and her assistant Luke arrive on the island of Marcleida, where Tia is eager to enter with her sword Grandeek. Grandeek's spirit aids Tia in her quests, and she searches for a way past the island's entrance fences. A stranger also arrives, hired to investigate the mysterious killings of the island's inhabitants, which are linked to the theft of sword Aihorn. Aihorn's spirit, seeking vengeance for its master's murder 50 years prior, has been responsible for the killings.
