Mitsuwano takes place in Kyoto, where young girls like Mai Ichinose, Riko Kikuzuki, and Midori Aikawa live together in a geisha house to learn traditional dance and music. Their goal is to become skilled maiko, a role that requires great elegance and poise. As they prepare for an upcoming festival, the friends face a challenge: only two maiko from each house can perform.
