The spaceship that went missing near Inferno II was crewed by nine people. Years later, a second ship with a crew of nine also arrives at the planet, where they encounter a deadly creature that quickly kills most of them. Makurou Kitazato, the sole survivor of this incident, must destroy the creature before it can harm a third ship approaching the planet.
